Rachel was born in Wyoming, raised in Minnesota, and currently lives in Utah. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University in 2023.
Before joining Vanderwall Immigration, Rachel worked as a paralegal focusing on defensive asylum cases, where she supported individuals navigating the complexities of the U.S. Immigration Court system.
Rachel’s commitment to advocating for immigrants is both professional and deeply personal. She learned Spanish while serving an 18-month religious mission in Guatemala. During her time there, she met her partner and has since personally experienced the U.S. immigration process alongside them. That experience has given Rachel a unique understanding of the emotional, legal, and practical challenges that immigrants and their families face.
Rachel plans to attend law school with the goal of becoming an immigration attorney and continuing to advocate for immigrant communities. She is passionate about helping individuals and families build better futures through compassionate legal support and dedicated representation.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys watercolor painting, wood carving, spending time with her family, and hiking in the mountains.
